Gabriela Jerahian

Coach Gabby Jerahian was a Varsity Captain and two-time All-Star during her time at Quincy High School where she helped lead her team to a Patriot League title & one of the best records in school history. During that time, Gabby set the school record for three pointers made! She continued her playing career at Roger Williams where she was selected as a captain. After majoring in Elementary Education, she is currently working in the Quincy Public Schools and is currently the JV Girls coach for North Quincy High!

Bernard McGuinness

Coach Bernie McGuinness currently plays for the Eastern Nazarene College men’s basketball team. He recently led the team in scoring and was selected as the NECC conference player of the year! Originally from Indiana, Bernie was a two-time all-conference high school player and team MVP. He has extensive experience coaching camps and clinics and brings an elite skill set to our trainings. As a Sports Management major, athletics is where his passion lies. We are excited to have Coach McGuiness on the Breakout team!

Chris Griffith

Coach Chris Griffith has long had a focus on athletics, playing college basketball at Clark University in Worcester and prior to that was an all-conference and all-county stand out in high school in upstate NY. Chris also has extensive experience working with youth through Norwell travel basketball and US Kids Golf. Off the court, Chris has had extensive experience with strength training and fitness and is the co-founder and Managing Director of a nationally recognized private wealth management practice.

Sean Daniels

Coach Daniels is currently an assistant coach for the men’s basketball program at Eastern Nazarene College. Sean brings a wealth of coaching experience including time spent as an assistant and head coach at a variety of colleges including Graceland University, Kentucky Christian University, Sisseton Wahpeton College, and Finlandia College where he also played college basketball. He is an expert skills trainer (and great guy!) and we are thrilled to add Sean to the staff!

Dave Eddings

Coach Eddings has served as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Eastern Nazarene for the past five years under two different head coaches. He also played four years of basketball as a member of the ENC Lions prior to that. Prior to coaching at ENC, he coached two years of high school ball in Philadelphia leading his team to the state semifinals during that time. He currently works in marketing and is actively involved in his church community. We are very excited to welcome Coach Eddings to the Breakout coaching staff!

Chad DiBonaventura

Coach DiBonaventura is a highly accomplished athlete, playing both football and tennis for Assumption College where he was selected as captain of the Varsity tennis team. In addition, he was a two-time conference all-star in basketball and was selected as a Central Massachusetts All-Star in his senior year. He is presently the Managing Director/CEO of a Private Consulting Firm. He has coached youth in a wide variety of sports and has coached in multiple basketball camps over the years. His passion for the game is second to none and we are very excited to have Chad involved!

Mark Brust

Coach Brust was a two-time all-scholastic in high school scoring 1000 points while leading Duxbury High to a state championship. He continued his basketball career at Bates College where he was selected as a captain. He led the Bobcats in assists and was the second leading scorer in his senior season. Currently, he serves as the JV boys coach at Duxbury High and is also a middle school special-education teacher in Norwell. His blend of basketball experience, skill, and understanding of how to teach and encourage kids of all ability levels made him a perfect fit for the Breakout family!

Tracey Dyment

Coach Tracey Dyment attended Bridgewater/Raynham High School where she was a 4 year varsity soccer player and 4 year varsity basketball player. Along with being a member of the Division 1 State Championship team, Tracey was also named to Who’s Who in High School Sports and was chosen as the Old Colony League MVP. Selected as a Boston Globe All Scholastic in 1992 and 1993. After high school, Tracey was recruited to play at Skidmore College and was named the 1994 UCAA Division 3 Rookie of the Year. Tracey now resides in Norwell and enjoys coaching and watching her three athletic sons in various sports.

Nicole Dunigan

Coach Nikki Dunigan was a 4-year starting guard in high school helping to lead her team to two New Jersey state titles! She won a New Jersey AAU state championship during that time as well. After high school, she continued her career playing club basketball at Princeton. She has coached at various levels over the past twenty years, and is currently coaching the mighty 5th grade team for Norwell travel basketball! She has been an instrumental part of our skills clinics for girls since 2019.

Nicole Jorgensen​

Coach Nicole Jorgensen is a recent graduate of The University of Rhode Island where she finished her stellar career with 1426 points finishing 6th all time in scoring, 5th all time in rebounding, and 5th in blocks. She was selected to the A-10 First Team in her senior year as the top center in the conference. Her professional career in Greece was temporarily interrupted this past fall due to the pandemic. She is a graduate of QHS where she was a captain and the first player in city history to score 1000 pts and snag 1000 rebounds. We’re thrilled to have her join us at Breakout!

James O’Hare

Coach Jim O’Hare is a Special Educator at Weymouth High School and previously taught at the Higashi school for autistic children. Jim is an accomplished three-sport Varsity athlete and is one of the most experienced and talented youth coaches in the area. He has coached over fifty teams and counting in basketball, football, soccer, lacrosse, and baseball. His passion, knowledge, and ability to connect with players is second to none.

Alyssa Camara

Coach Alyssa Camara was a Varsity Captain and All-Star during her time at Quincy High School where she helped lead her team to a Patriot League title & one of the best records in school history. She is a graduate of Westfield State University majoring in athletic training. During her time there, her team won an astonishing three consecutive MASCAC titles. Her college coach referred to Alyssa as “the glue that keeps this team together.” Alyssa is currently a Varsity assistant at Braintree High.

Calvin Seward

Coach Seward is currently the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Eastern Nazarene College. As a player, Calvin was a 4-time district champion at Harding High School in Bridgeport, CT. He then played 4 years of Varsity college basketball at Hartwick College where he majored in Criminal Justice. He is currently working toward a Masters in Business while assisting the ENC Lions. He has extensive experience coaching camps at the high school and college level. We are thrilled to have Coach Seward on board here at Breakout!

Scott Madden

Coach Madden was a league All-Star and Enterprise All-Scholastic at Silver Lake High School. Scored 1000 points for 1997 ECAC Champion Eastern Nazarene College (where he was a teammate of Coach Bretsch!). First team all-conference in his senior year. Started his coaching career as the freshman boys basketball coach at North Quincy High School. Varsity boys basketball coach at Marshfield high school where he later served at Director of Athletics. Coach Madden is currently an Assistant Principal at Furnace Brook Middle School in Marshfield.

Amy Madden

Coach Madden was a 4-time all-star at Silver Lake High School scoring 1000 pts. Reebok All-State First Team selection. Inducted into the Silver Lake Athletic Hall of Fame. Played DII basketball for Assumption College where she captained the team for two years and was selected as the MAIA W Division II Scholar Athlete of the Year. Has served as an assistant coach at Silver Lake and Plymouth South High Schools as well as at Pace University. Amy currently serves as an adjustment counselor in the Hanover Public Schools.

Nick Welch

Coach Nick Welch was an all-star captain at Newburyport High School playing the forward position. He went on to play college basketball at Springfield and then at Emerson under head coach and BC legend Jim O’Brien. He received his degree in marketing and communications. After college, he co-founded “Community Hoops”, a non-profit organization that provided free basketball instruction in disadvantaged communities on the North Shore. We are excited to welcome Coach Welch to the Breakout family!​

Liana Cunningham

Coach Liana Cunningham, an all-scholastic point guard, captain, and 4-year varsity starter for Quincy High holds every assist record in city history. She was a stellar point guard for the Framingham State Rams where she earned MASCAC Rookie of the Year honors in her Freshman season & followed that up with a conference championship in her sophomore year! Liana is currently serving as the Varsity girls coach at North Quincy High School!

Brendan Cunningham

Assistant Coach Brendan Cunningham, an all-scholastic shooting guard during his time at Quincy High School, is a graduate of Mt. Ida College where he played four years of Varsity Basketball for the Mustangs while majoring in business. He has coached Freshman boys basketball at Stoneham High School & is currently the J.V. Girls coach at Quincy High.

Pat Gould

Assistant Coach Pat Gould, an all-scholastic guard during his years at North Quincy High School, is a graduate of Framingham State College where he played Varsity basketball for four years as he studied to become a history teacher. He is currently serving as the Freshman coach and a Varsity Assistant for the North Quincy High School boys’ basketball program. Fun fact: Coach Pat is the first assistant coach Breakout ever had!

​Jeff Bretsch

Head Coach Jeff Bretsch served as Varsity basketball at Quincy High School for 19 years accumulating the most wins in the history of the program. During that time, the Presidents qualified for the State Tournament 15 times. In addition, 23 Quincy High players have continued on to play basketball at the college level during his tenure.
