Professional Skill-Development Instruction

Breakout Skillz! might best be described as a weekly version of our incredibly popular basketball camp format. Each week, our professional coaching staff will provide in-depth skills training in a variety of different areas in a way that is engaging and fun. Players will work on the fundamentals of the game such as dribbling and passing skills, defensive principles, offensive moves on the catch and off the dribble, being "strong with the ball", rebounding, proper technique on layups using both hands, creative finishing moves, etc.) This program, like our camps, is appropriate for players of any ability level. Sessions and groups will be organized based on age and ability level to ensure a great experience for everyone involved. I hope your athlete will join us! Developmental AAU Teams!
Skillz + Games & Team Concepts! Add a second day of hoops!

AAU has become tremendously competitive, and as a result, developing players often do not have an opportunity to learn, develop, and get involved in a way that sets them up for future success. In this program, our athletes will focus primarily on developing individual skills and team concepts on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. They will attend the above Skillz session each week and our coaches will provide in-depth skills training in a variety of different areas. In addition, they will have one Team Practice/Game Day per week where they will learn team concepts and also put their skills to use by competing in live scrimmages. It's a nice mix, providing rigorous skills instructions while also giving the athletes a chance to compete and have fun playing the game with active coaching and refereeing by our staff.

Nothing but Net! Shooting Workouts
- Shooting workouts for boys in g.5-10 & girls in grades 6-9!
- Program Cost: $185 (*$50 discount for AAU team members)

- Mondays from 5:00-5:45 at Norwell Middle (starting 3/25) (boys g.5-10 or girls g.6-9)
- Mondays from 7:45-8:30 at FBMS in Marshfield (starting 3/25) (boys g.7-10 only)
- Thursdays from 6:30-7:25 at Norwell High (starting 4/4) (boys g.5-8 & girls g.6-9)
- Thursdays from 7:30-8:25 at Norwell High (starting 4/4) (boys g.6-10)
Seven 45-minute sessions on Mondays (or six 55-minute sessions on Thursdays) with a focus on getting as many shots up as we can! We'll work on different types of shots and finishes, and help players develop proper form and use it consistently. Players will record and track their progress as they go. The modern game is all about shooting! Great shooters need instruction, feedback, and most importantly lots and lots of reps! Let our expert staff help you reach your potential! Limited spots available and a $50 discount is available to current Breakout AAU players.
BIG MAN Clinics!
- For boys in g.7-10
- Program Cost: $205 (*$60 discount for AAU team members)
6 seventy-minute sessions specifically designed to teach our big dudes how to PLAY BIG! In Breakout, we train all our players to be shooters and to handle the basketball with confidence like guards, but scoring near the hoop, finishing through contact, executing the screen roll, posting up and sealing your man, rim-running in transition... these are essential skills for taking your game to the next level and increasing your contribution to your team's success. A big man can impact the game like no one else. Learn the tools to help you maximize your potential!
10th grade coach Scott Madden will be taking the lead on this. This is a terrific opportunity to learn from a great teacher and an exciting addition to our already robust skills training program. I hope all our bigs will join us and take advantage!
